Snowflake's fifth Modern Marketing Data Stack report centers agentic governance

Snowflake released the fifth edition of its Modern Marketing Data Stack report at Cannes, subtitled Governing the Agentic Enterprise, drawing on usage from more than 11,500 customers across 13 tool categories. The core argument: AI agents now act on customer data faster than manual governance can keep up, so privacy and semantics must be embedded in how data is accessed rather than reviewed after the fact.

The bottom line: The report is a free map of which activation, measurement, and identity vendors are actually being used on warehouse-native stacks, useful ammunition for your next tooling decision.

Anthropic launches Claude Tag, a persistent AI teammate inside Slack

Anthropic introduced Claude Tag in beta for Claude Enterprise and Team customers, letting a whole Slack channel share one Claude with persistent memory, connected tools, and optional ambient behavior where it surfaces updates unprompted. Teams tag @Claude in a thread, hand it multistep tasks, and it works through them while learning organizational context over time.

The bottom line: Shared-channel AI with organizational memory changes how marketing ops teams can delegate reporting and campaign QA work, but it also means governance of what Claude sees in Slack becomes a real policy question.
